The Institute

The Institute of Building Research and Innovation was founded by Renate Hammer and Peter Holzer in 201X with the aim of XXX. Since then, the institute has developed into an XXX, committed to open collaboration and the exchange of knowledge beyond political or corporate agendas.

Through a broad network of partners, we work nationally and internationally with universities, public institutions, housing and property developers, architectural firms, and many other stakeholders. These collaborations allow us to address complex challenges from multiple perspectives and to translate research into practical solutions.

At the core of our work is a cooperative and practice-oriented approach to exploring how the built environment can become more sustainable, equitable, and future-ready. By working closely with our partners, we develop informed and responsible solutions that respond to today’s challenges while shaping the spaces of tomorrow.
